I am often asked: “What do you do?” and I say: “That is a tough question. Please refer to the About Section of my Facebook profile” or I send them my LinkedIn profile.

Some people found it funny or amusing and some found it as a lack of focus in life. Well, I knew the reality and I was sometimes overwhelmed due to personal struggles and lack of time to do it all. But then thanks to my best friend and a +Acumen course by Sarah Robb O’Hagan, I was able to get more clarity on the what and how of my various fields of work.


Triangle Leader at Lifebushido, a virtual US-based company founded by Steve Kantor, a Harvard grad, where I head the triangles, a 30-day recruit process mandatory to apply and work at the company. I get to talk, guide and learn from people across the world, both US, and Globals recruits. We financially empower women in technology to work part-time and focus on their unique talents through the Billion Dollar Agent Systems.

Catalyst (volunteer coach) on +Acumen courses, the world’s school for social change like Social Entrepreneurship 101, Design Kit, Human-centered design, Storytelling for Change, a Corps member of virtual invitation-only global community of action-oriented changemakers consisting of their most dedicated students and community members and a Launch Team member on their Udemy courses.


Local Expert for Kolkata in the OSU Project under “WOMEN IN STEM ROADSHOW” (WSR) program 2017-2018, U.S. Mission India Public Diplomacy Grants Program, U.S Department of State, headed by Dr.Sultana Nahar, a senior scientist at OSU. The aim of this initiative is to encourage and promote STEM studies among disadvantaged and minority females in India- Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kurnool, Patna and Aligarh.

Member at OpenIDEO where we “design for good, practice open innovation, bring people together, work toward impact.” I have participated in a few challenges that lie in my domain of work or are of great interest to me.

Sub-Committee Member of Girl’s Section of Calcutta Muslim Orphanage, the oldest orphanage of the country established in 1892, which was visited in 2004 by the Honourable Ex-President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for the inauguration of its school building. I started as a volunteer for 3+ years doing various activities with primary school children like playing educative games and teaching through stories and English through poems and songs, and with primary and secondary students like counseling through activities and discuss topics on hygiene, friendship, love etc.

In 2016, after doing several +Acumen courses, I started reviewing the documents of the girls, observing the place and people better and proposed a project, created content with monitoring and evaluation templates called “Her Well-Being” to solve some major challenges that were being faced through counselling, a residential house system with duties addressing major problems faced and tuition teacher training to start with. It proved to be effective as students started sharing openly and expressed interest in the activities. Moreover, few females I trained from high school and college was involved in problem-solving and acted as the role model for these girls.


Head of CSR Youth Team at Sanjha Chulha, a successful restaurant with 4 outlets in the city where we have taken up the challenge of Hunger Free Kolkata through our FOOD ATM Initiative that became very popular and got lots of media coverage, corporate support and support from renowned  social circles like Rotary, Round Table and others. I Mentor the youth who are involved and help plan strategy to have more youth from schools and colleges join the team. I identified two of the leaders in the team during the Ideathon by Global Shapers Kolkata where I was a mentor for the event.

Mentor at DREAMS, a social initiative for promoting and developing resources for teaching STEM to the Visually Impaired, starting in Surat with a team consisting of Dr.Manish Jain and Mrs.Meghnaa Surana from Surat, Praachi Jain from Japan, Arjavi Bahety from Singapore and 3 teens- Mudit, Ananya and Krish from Surat, who participated in the Diamond Challenge in the US for Teen Entrepreneurs.


Influencer and Speaker at KNUTS, a talent management agency, a platform where the “stories meet the stage.” My profile falls into the category of Voices of Women, Voice of Words and The Changemakers. I will be sharing my story of the “triumph of the will” as they have described and to “give good a chance.”

Trainer for Junior Quotient in Kolkata. These are Workshops for Parents of 2-6-year-old children in schools as part of the Parenting Campaign by Junior Horlicks in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore.


Volunteer at Sri Aurobindo Bhavan-Kolkata where we organize and conduct events for children in July and January. The children’s literary and cultural events like drawing competition, elocution, storytelling, dance, and quiz occur in July and annual sports day in January. Schools across Kolkata participate with enthusiasm and get opportunities to showcase their talents in different fields.


Mentor and Ambassador at Jobs For Her, India’s largest online portal for women returnees. It is a platform that offers resources and the “journeys of women who are devoted to their families and committed to their careers.” I aspire to empower more women in India through my work and my mentoring to rejoin the workforce and be assets to their families and country by being money smart.

Trainer at CELLO-Write to Win, a unique experiential learning initiative for (1) Middle school on “Secrets To Great Handwriting” and for (2) High school on “Making Exams Stress Free.” I interacted with students from grades 4, 5 and 6 in one session and with students from grades 7, 8 and 9 in the second session in the schools across Kolkata.


Freelancer Teacher at Word Munchers, it is a creative writing and language development service provider that focuses on bespoke and diverse skills to assist students, adults and corporate fulfill their language enrichment and creative writing requirements. I am passionate about teaching critical thinking and public speaking through productive songs and interactive, fun learning activities.
